- From Sicuani to Phinaya: When you arrive in Sicuani, you can have breakfast and buy what you need for the road. Then, take a cab or colectivo to the village of Phinaya, where the hike begins.
- Hike or Horse: From Phinaya, you will have a two-day hike to the glacier, but if you prefer, you can rent a horse from the local people.
